Provisional bookings
1.  Check when the studio is vacant on the Availability   Calendar which is in page 6 above.
2.  You can make provisional bookings by
        telephone,
        e-mail                       Click your choice.
    or letter.
a.) Always include your home address and telephone number. 
b.) A provisional bookings will only be confirmed after my receipt of the non-returnable deposit of 10% of the rent by post.
It should be sent as soon as possible to arrive within seven days of making the booking.
The provisional booking is first recorded on my Bookings Calendar in pencil and kept only for seven days, so please get your deposit in the post promptly -  before anyone else applying for the same week !
c.) Once I have received the non-returnable deposit
(or full rent if the let starts within six weeks),
the booking will be confirmed and entered on my Bookings Calendar and on the Availability Calendar.

Payment of Balance
After receiving  your cheque for the provisional booking, I will send you a letter acknowledging the payment of your deposit, which confirms your provisional booking. The letter includes the details and date for payment of the balance, which will be at least six weeks before your arrival at the studio. After this date, the rent is not refundable so it may be wise if you took out travel insurance before this point.
About two weeks after this, when your cheque has been cleared by the bank, I will send you instructions about the keys and full information about the studio.

On Tour
If you will be away from home touring for a period immediately before coming to the studio, you must provide a reliable address to which I can send the keys unless you request them in time before you leave home, allowing time for unusual delays in postal services.

Refunds
If the full rent has been paid prior to the six weeks before departure and if cancellation is unavoidable and I have been informed of it in time, the rent will be refunded less the 10% non-returnable deposit whether this was paid separately or not.

Disappointment
If you find that the weeks you wanted are already let, remember to book earlier next year  or book now for next year !
